The Flag is Raised The song "The Flag is Raised" by Bladee and Ecco2k is the first title track off of their collab album "Crest". It was released on March 18th, 2022 with 30 minutes and 54 seconds of the duo singing. This first song is 2 minutes and 59 seconds long and sets the tone for the rest of the album. Although there are 8 more songs, this one is personally my favorite so far because of how frequently I hear this song. The mixture of hi-hats with synths set in the background makes this song feel like you're floating in space. It especially feels like this when Ecco2k comes and sings the chorus repeating "Marie" while also referencing the religious figure Virgin Mary by saying "head of the fountain". Bladee makes references to older songs in his opening verse, making me feel appreciated of how much detail he puts into his music.
